Certificates of Good Standing
A Certificate of Good Standing attests to an attorney’s admission to practice and current status of good standing. “Good Standing” indicates that the attorney registered with the Board of Overseers of the Bar and is not currently suspended or disbarred.
The Certificate includes the attorney’s bar number, date of admission and public disciplinary record if any. Certificate of Good Standing requests must be written on the attorney’s stationery and bear the attorney’s signature.
Each Certificate of Good Standing costs $25. Make your check or money order payable to the Board of Overseers of the Bar together with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Mail your request for Certificate of Good Standing(s) to the address below.
